BTCCSquare news:

Animoca Brands, a dominant force in digital assets and Web3 ecosystems, has obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). The approval grants the company regulatory clearance to operate as a broker-dealer and digital asset manager for institutional investors in Dubai—excluding the DIFC zone.

The license accelerates Animoca’s Middle East strategy, enabling flagship projects like The Sandbox and Moca Network to function within a defined legal framework. VARA, established under Dubai Law No. 4 in 2022, continues to shape the emirate’s virtual asset landscape through rigorous oversight of licensing and compliance standards.
